Daddy moved us to Santa Rosa in October of 1956. I was 10 years old. We grew up at the same address and attended the same school. We used to come to Modesto at least once a month to see all the clan. I remember Grandpa Vaughn always sitting in his chair and not letting anyone sit in it except Mary with Gramma. I remember all the gatherings and the food and fun times when they lived on Benson    St. Gramma would always sit and stare at you. I would never ask why, but later in years I decided that she was thinking about what we would be like in years from then. It was funny, because daddy did that same thing in his later years. Daddy was a kind man and a great dad, I love him and miss him very much.
